The Internet is a WONDERFUL place.

It still amazes me that squealing for help on the WEST coast on one day can result in a stream of assistance from the EAST coast on the day after - thanks to ALL of you who responded to my plea for NYC assistance, and [livejournal.com profile] nychelly in particular for the heap of photographic evidence and other pertinent information.

Finishing off the relevant chapter now.

Grateful author waving from the Pacific Northwest (...but a side effect of all those photos is that I REALLY want to go to New York now [grin])

You're most welcome. Glad to be of assistance.

And if you do get here and we can work it out, maybe we could meet and I'll get you to autograph my copy of The Secrets of Jin-Shei. :)

I KNOW I will probably be over there next year in March sometime (for Lunacon, which this year was in WHiteplains somewhere which is a train ride away from Manhattan - I tend to come up a day early and go into the city to see my agent, whatever current editor has my work on their table, stuff like that. SO maybe that would be a plan,if not before.

(Unless you can persuade your librarian colleagues who have control of an author visit budget to bring me out there to do a talk or a reading or something [grin])

In other words, I'd be delighted to sign your copy - but if you don't want to wait for next year let me know and I'll send you a pretty bookplate you can stick into your copy...

(and by the way... LOVE the icon [giggle])

That would be cool. And I can wait. It's fun meeting online friends in person.

Glad you like the icon. It's one of my favs.
