I can haz fanfic...?

Apparently so...

All right, it might be old hat to some writers but I haven't had that much of it aimed at me. I'm surprised, and enetertained, and delighted.

Congratulations. :-)

(Funnily enough, I was thinking the other day of that lovely piece of fanart someone did for JinShei -- I'd like to print that out when I have wallspace to put it on.)

I'm so relieved that you find it flattering. So many writers don't.

The fact that somebody found characters born in my mind and my heart to be worthy of being so ALIVE that they crave more stories about them (and get upset when the stories *I* wrote about them don't go the way the reader might have wanted!) is a huge compliment to me, and I appreciate it greatly. I might feel differently if I found out that somebody was ripping off the characters to publish their own sequels of the books off their own bat - but this is hardly that. This is... just so *cool*.

Okay, I just did a majorly epic happy dance.

Glad it "delighted" you!

Very cool. Both that it exists and that it delights you.

Mental image: Story in which an author has made up our world, and is upset with fanfic writers.
