So said the eminently quotable Oscar Wilde. And I just got notification that I am going to LaunchPad, the NASA-backed astronomy workshop for writers run by author and astronomer Mike Brotherton in Laramie, Wyoming.
I can't wait.
(The same site I went to to check the exact Wilde quote also offered this:
"Be humble for you are made of earth.
Be noble for you are made of stars."
-- Serbian proverb
I don't recognise it, but hey, it fits. We are all star stuff, and I am going to Wyoming to say hello to my cousins in the distant galaxies. Sometimes life just comes round bringing gifts, and this one is shining with the glow of stardust scattered upon it. Something huge is stirring in me already, and it's months before I'm to set foot in Laramie...)
