I played both videos to find that Baggy had at some point come in off the landing and was lying on the floor near my chair. So I played them again and watched him. The first one he ignored, totally. The second one seemed to make him a little uncomfortable. He looked up at me, walked to the other side of my chair, went back and settled down again.

If I had to I'd guess that the first video consists of two cats both making 'pay attention to me' noises, which of course, eventually causes them to pay attention to each other. Baggy doesn't really associate much with other cats so I assume he registered them as non-threat and totally ignored them. He usually ignores cats and dogs on the TV as well, but then, he also knows that his favourite toy - the red laser dot - is controlled by me.

The second one looks like a very territorial cat making a challenge to two intruders. That's the kind of yowl I hear that usually ends in a low growling noise and precedes someone (usually next door's cat) having a go at Baggy. When I rush down and open the door, Baggy saunters in, tail up and bottle-brushed so I assume he comes off okay in these encounters. Hence he seemed to need to get up and just have a quick check, but when there was no sight or scent of the noise-maker, he lost interest.
