Okay, odd memes aside...

There's this weird "album cover meme" thing from
careswen that goes like this:
Album cover meme:
Go to this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
You then take the pic and add your band name and the album title to it, then post your pic.
I would have looked at it, and said interesting, and passed on my way - but I clicked that first link just because I wanted to see what would happen, and what came up was this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%90ala
Đala (Ђала) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Novi Kneževac municipality, in the North Banat District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Serb ethnic majority and its population numbering 1,004 people (2002 census).
*I was born in Vojvodina*.
What the Hell were the odds??
And after that, of course, I HAD to do the rest.
The title of my album is, apparently, "Always worked for me" (full quote: "I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me." - Hunter S. Thompson (1939 - 2005))
And my album cover picture is this:

Okay. Pretty picture.
Useless, if fun.
But honestly, folks. I'm still reeling from that first coincidence. The world and the Internet are both awfully, awfully big. The odds that a random Wikipedia article I click on would be about a village a few hours away from the place that I was born... staggers me.
That would be all. I just had to share.
