Foreign editions are odd animals...

They come home late, and dishevelled, and looking vaguely shifty, and refuse to tell you where they've been all this time.

One of mine arrived today. TODAY. October 16, two thousand and EIGHT. This edition was published back in 2007 - and it turns up on my doorstep now, like a prodigal child.

Ah well. It's the Brazillian edition. I guess it stayed for the Carnival and got a little hung over and thought it would sleep it off and it all took a little longer than anticipated...

The BOOK says 2007. The contract was signed in mid 2006. I've been getting spam from Brasil - and at least two readers of this blog from there - for at least a year.

So I would say that yes, it was published and out there. Just why it took them so long to send a couple of copies my way... no idea...
