Got an email from my editor. The editorial letter and the edited MS of Worldweavers Book 3 are ready, and on their way.

No more than that. No hints. Nuttin. "Trick or treat, dear author?"... [grin]

On the more practical side of Halloween, we have a (small) supply of candy for potential small fry coming around asking for same - but we took care to purchase something that we ourselves wouldn't mind polishing off if no small fry manifest tonight. Therefore, if anyone knocks on our door, they'll get Lindt truffles.

Class act, our house [grin]

And I thought we gave out good candy here! Um, where's your house? ;)

Go right up to the Pacific Ocean, go North, and right before you hit Canada, turn right... [grin]

Actually we had six of them turn up tonight. The small fry, that is. That's six more than we had last year.

But we still have lots of truffles left...

That's just a wee bit of a hike from Albany, Ny. ;)
We had 6 too. Also good for us.

I am relatively small. Had I known you were giving out truffles to the vertically challenged, I'd have become even smaller and shown up at your door, plastic jack-o-lantern in hand. (^o^)

That's been my trick in the past, too. But not only was I not home, this year, I know that all the "fry" on our dock are now too large to think trick or treating on the dock is "neat."

I miss those "leftover" Lindt truffles, though....

So unfortunately Halloween has passed here by now... not to mention I don't think my legs would have lasted the journey...

But I thought I might hijack this post...
To make a request...

Would it be possible for that bookplate you offered about a week ago?
I ended up buying The Secrets of Jin Shea, as The Gift of the Unmage wasn't available... so yes I did jump from a fantasy novel, to something stored in the literature section... but I think the 13 year old will be able to hack it... She's at a selective highschool, and has always been a bright child...
And if not it can sit on her shelves for a couple of years until she's old enough to appreciate it...

If you will email me a snailmail adress to anghara at vaxer dot net, I'll put a bookpllate in the mail to you ASAP.

And just as a matter of interest, where was it that "unmage" was unavailable? I might want to tell my publisher so that they can go to that bookstore and whine...

Email sent... It's from hotmail, so you might need to check your junk mail folder if it doesn't make it to your inbox...
