...the Red Room site has a blogging option for its authors. So I decided to postmy inaugural Red Room Blog.

The Red Room thing won't be a REGULAR thing, by which I mean that I won't be updating it every month on a given date or anything like that. But I will be posting essaylets on it when the mood takes me. Hop over and have a look when you get a chance.

I'm rather curious about Redroom and Bookhitch, and how much either of them would actually be of benefit to authors. I suppose it will come down to howe much time and effort you devote to it, but also, the idea is for the site to help boost attention and traffic to the individual authors, no? it's this latter part that I'm not clear on how exactly they're going to do it.
