I don't even know if my mind can take all of that in. I just cannot believe that out of all those galaxies and stars and planets, that we are alone. We may never know but just looking at that renews my faith.

I remember when I first saw one of the deep field images (in National Geographic, I think) and I was overwhelmed by the sheer sense of space. Like that thing...in...one of the Hitchhikers' books...
