Today's deer pictures:



















They came to my door, the two of them, and LOOKED at me with the eyes of fallen angels. "Food, O Goddess of the Warm Room. Food. Or we die."

I tossed them a couple of corn cobs and an apple. Little enough. But they drove away a third deer when it tried to approach. Ganged up on it and attacked it with flailing hooves.

And then came back to right outside my door and stared at me for a long time.

I said, "Come back tomorrow."

They bowed their heads, and left...

Snowing steadily all day. They're threatening SOLID freezing between now and the weekend. Doesn't look like I'm going anywhere before the thaw...
